WHAT UNIFORM DO THE CHILDREN WEAR IN SCHOOL?

 

School Uniform

Royal Blue Sweatshirt or cardigan with logo

Plain Navy or black – hijab (head scarf)

Plain, low Black shoes - NO boots

 

Additional Options for Summer

Grey skirt/pinafore dress/cloth trousers Blue/white dresses

Grey or Navy Shalwar Grey cloth shorts

White polo shirt Plain, low Black or blue sandals

 

Jewellery - On health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school.  Pupils are allowed to wear a watch, one earring per lobe – small plain sleeper or stud only. Pupils are not permitted to wear necklaces or bracelets (other than for faith reasons).

 

Hair - For health and safety reasons, long hair should always be tied back for PE. A plain hijab may be worn.

 

Footwear - All pupils must wear plain black school shoes below the ankle. Pupils should not wear shoes that are decorative (e.g. diamantes) have coloured / reflective strips or logos, backless sandals or boots (above the ankle).

 

PE Kit - The correct PE kit must be brought to every PE lesson.

If a pupil is excused from a PE lesson they must still bring their PE kit in order to go to the lesson, for example as a referee.

If pupils do not have the correct PE kit they will be required to borrow a PE kit so they can take part in the lesson.

 

PE Uniform

Black shorts, White T-shirt (round neck), Black slip-on pumps (indoors), cheap trainers (outdoors)

Please note that most school uniform can be bought/ordered from the School Office.

Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Year 4 & 5 Swimming

Swimming trunks, swimsuit or full body swimming suit (stretch nylon/lycra only) and towel in a bag

 

Please Note: The school cannot take responsibility for items lost, stolen or broken in school.
